We’re excited to launch Performaar v1.5, the all-in-one debrief and after-action review (AAR) solution.
What’s New Since v1.4
Added
- Scoring API to enable automated grading of recorded data using user-defined assessments and grading rubrics. The Scoring API is a subset of Performaar’s existing GraphQL API.
- Support for capturing MAVLink data over UDP and storing it as a .tlog file.
- Support for importing and synchronizing Garmin FIT Protocol files into existing recordings.
- X-Plane dataref support to the dashboards, Data API queries and the
watchRecordingDatasubscription. updatePlayerLayoutGraphQL mutation to allow temporary layouts to be configured directly on Remote Players.- Ability to configure Performaar’s log, plugin, and database directories for Server and Streamer.
- A Scores dashboard component to view scoring results.
- A track button to the Entity List dashboard component to allow following entities on the 3D Map.
- A compass visualization to the 3D Map dashboard component.
- Documentation for the Data API.
Changed
- DIS recordings to significantly reduce dropped or lost PDUs.
- Dashboards with in-progress recordings to process only new data from each subscription update, using incremental updates every second instead of full updates every 5 seconds.
- The
watchRecordingDatasubscription to allow an option for only receiving partial data every update. - The
SO_REUSEADDRflag to now be enabled automatically for DIS recordings that have a multicast group address. - The entity tracking camera in the 3D Map dashboard component to support position and orientation locked views.
- The measurement tool in the 3D Map dashboard component to track selected entities and dynamically recalculate bearing, distance, altitude difference as they move on the map.
Fixed
- HLA recordings sometimes being significantly out-of-sync with videos in the same session.
- DIS entity appearance in Entity State PDUs not being parsed correctly.
- Issue where bookmarks added while a Recording is in the
Finalizingstate were overridden and removed. - Data API error when querying position and orientation for MAVLink and JSBSim files.
Known Issues
- Munitions can appear and disappear randomly in the 3D Map component when viewing a dashboard for an in-progress recording.
